Please Ensure That You Read And Agree To These Terms Before Purchasing Items From Our Site.

These terms are governed by English Laws and therefore any disputes that arise will be dealt with by English courts. We may occasionally make amendments to our terms on this website so please ensure that you are familiar with them before placing an order.

The Goods

It is your responsibility to ensure that all measurements and details submitted to us are accurate. We cannot be held responsible for any innacurate measurements. Our fabrics are photographed at high-resolution and represented accurately on our site. However, due to the huge variation in monitor settings, the colours you see on your screen may not be true. Slight variations in colour do not entitle the buyer to a refund or compensation of any kind. If you require a colour match to existing furnishings then we strongly recommend requesting a sample before placing an order. We reserve the right to refuse your order if for any reason we have insufficient stock, the fabrics have been discontinued without our knowledge, a pricing error has occured within our website or if you have placed your order from outside of the UK.

Product Pricing

All goods displayed on this site are displayed in GBP and include tax at the rate applicable to the UK. Payment is accepted via PayPal or Barclays ePDQ. Whilst we work to ensure that all prices shown on the website are accurate, it is possible that errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in a price then we will contact you with the correct pricing to see if you wish to proceed. If we do not receive a reply then we will treat it as a cancellation.

Delivery

Are standard delivery charge is for England based addresses, all deliveries outside of this area may be subject to extra costs. You can view our delivery costs here. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over. Please see individual products for their own lead times these range from next day to 10 woking days. In the event of any unforseen circumstances, we will contact you. Responsibility for the care of your goods passes to you at the time of first attempted delivery.

  1. Delivery Method: The delivery will be made using our designated delivery service or courier.
  2. Delivery Address: The buyer must provide an accurate and complete delivery address at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for any delivery delays or failures caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the buyer.
  3. Delivery Timeframe: The estimated delivery timeframe will be communicated at the time of purchase. However, please note that unforeseen circumstances, bank holidays or events beyond our control may cause delays. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the product within the specified timeframe.
  4. Delivery Charges: Any applicable delivery charges will be communicated to the buyer before the purchase is completed, these will appear in the checkout section once you have entered your delivery address. The buyer is responsible for paying the specified delivery charges unless otherwise stated.
  5. Delivery Confirmation: A delivery confirmation is sent once the order has been dispatched and the item is normally delivered the next working day (see timeframe section for possible dealys).
  6. Delivery Attempts: The delivery service or courier will make reasonable attempts to deliver the package to the specified address. If delivery is unsuccessful after multiple attempts, the parcels will be returned to us. Additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
  7. Inspection upon Delivery: Upon receiving the package, if the exterior of the package is damaged please inform the courior and they will make a note. Please inspect the contents for any damage or discrepancies. If any issues are found, you must notify us within 7 working days.
  8. Non-Delivery: In the rare event that the package is not delivered within a reasonable time frame or is lost during transit, please contact us immediately to initiate an investigation and resolution process.
  9. International Deliveries: For international deliveries, the buyer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country. We has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
  10. Force Majeure: We will not be held responsible for any delays or failures in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or labor disputes.
  11. Delivery Policy Updates: The seller reserves the right to modify or update these delivery terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will be applicable to all new purchases.

Cancellations and Amendments

It is vital to ensure that the measurements you provide are accurate as we cannot offer replacements or refunds in cases of the incorrect measurements being provided, unless you have taken out our MissMeasure insurance (see below for further details). Please follow the measuring instructions carefully before submitting your order. Also please note that since our products are made-to-measure, they are suitable only for you and therefore once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled or refunds issued. If you require any changes to your order, we must be notified within 24hrs of your order placement. By ordering, you are entering into a legally binding contract with Your Blinds Direct Ltd.

Returns Policy

While we have stringent quality checks and do our best to ensure that your blind reaches you in perfect condition, in the event that you experience any issues with your blind please contact us within seven days of receipt. We reserve the right to request digital pictures of the fault or a return of the blind for inspection. If necessary we will arrange for a replacement product to be sent. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  1. Eligibility: Due to the customized nature of made-to-measure products, they are not subject to the normal returns policies that apply to standard, off-the-shelf items. As such, returns or exchanges for made-to-measure products may be limited or restricted.
  2. Order Confirmation: Before placing an order for a made-to-measure product, it is crucial to carefully review all measurements, specifications, and design details provided. Once the order is confirmed and production begins, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
  3. Quality Assurance: We take utmost care to ensure that the made-to-measure products are crafted according to the provided measurements and specifications. Quality checks are performed to ensure the product meets the agreed-upon standards.
  4. Measurement Accuracy: It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide accurate measurements. Any inaccuracies in the measurements provided may result in a poorly fitting product. We are not liable for any fitting issues caused by incorrect measurements provided by the buyer.
  5. Fitting Alterations: If a made-to-measure product does not fit properly upon receipt, please contact within a reasonable timeframe to discuss potential alterations. In such cases, we may offer guidance or recommend local alteration services to modify the product for a better fit. Any costs associated with these alterations will be borne by the buyer.
  6. Defects or Errors: In the rare event of a defect or error in the craftsmanship or design of the made-to-measure product, please notify us promptly. We will work closely with you to help resolve the issue, this may involve repairs, replacements, or refunds, depending on the circumstances.
  7. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable: Generally, made-to-measure products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases where defects or errors occur. As each item is specifically tailored to the buyer’s unique measurements and preferences, it cannot be resold to another customer.
  8. Communication and Cooperation: Open and clear communication between the buyer and the seller is essential throughout the process. Buyers are encouraged to provide detailed information, ask questions, and seek clarifications to ensure accurate customization and minimize the potential for issues.
  9. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes or disagreements regarding the made-to-measure product, we will work together in good faith to find an equitable solution. If necessary, mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods may be pursued.
  10. Policy Updates: The seller reserves the right to modify or update this returns policy for made-to-measure products at any time without prior notice.

Guarantee

We are confident of the quality of our products and offer a 12 month manufacturing guarantee and a further two years limited guarantee on any faults that may arise. We reserve the right to repair or replace the item and may request digital photos or the return of your blind for inspection. This does not cover fair wear and tear, misuse or incorrect installation. This does not affect your statutory rights.
